  1. When it comes to social media, are you more concerned about privacy, or about getting access to things you want?

A little bit of both. I want everything at my fingertips but I want to be protected also. As we as a country get more concerned about terrorism our privacy get more and more subjected.

When the government gathers or analyzes personal information, many people say they’re not worried. “I’ve got nothing to hide,” they declare. “Only if you’re doing something wrong should you worry, and then you don’t deserve to keep it private.”

  2. I care more about privacy, I like to keep important information to myself as a way to protect my self, and i make sure that what i put on social media does not put me in a bad light. Other ways I protect my social media is by making a good password to help prevent hacking.

  3. both for me..

social media has expand throught the years.
lets take fb for instance you can post a picture standing in someome house and facebook would ask you to confirm if this is such in such house. and in your mind your just like WTF how did they know that.

privacy is becoming a big issue on the media know a days even if your GPS is off someone can find you based off social media. so privacy is more concerning to me. it can be a dangerous thing if you are really trying to hide from someone.

  5. When it comes to social media, I’m more concerned about privacy because there are a lot of things that can go wrong if your accounts are not private. Because I’m concerned about privacy, I try to only add people who I know or people who are friends with some of the people I’m already friends with. I see and hear a lot about people pages being hacked or pictures being stolen which makes me want to keep my accounts even more private. While I do like to get access to the things I want, I try to be mindful of the things that are suspicious.

  6. both important for me.When I use social media, hoping to get people’s attention, but also hope that my privacy is protected.Because of his disclosure of confidential information received, some time will bring a lot of trouble, so social media to protect customers’ privacy is a very important thing. The risk of loss of privacy and use of social media are inseparable. In the long-term dependent on social media inertia, young users to explore the possibility of maintaining the security of personal information. In their perception, the shield parents, reducing the release of private information, all reasonable means to protect privacy. However, they never thought that in the current era of big data, daily use of anonymous social software, and even mobile terminals carried, are intentionally or unintentionally disclose their privacy.Time cost of protecting personal privacy, delete browsing history far beyond the benefits of simple steps. For example, my Google account, which is not only a lot of popular sites account password, there are a lot of bookmarks. In this case, each time you use Google Chrome browser, you can always achieve access to information on the various platforms. Although I know my personal information is therefore more likely to reveal, but compared to its convenience, and I still compromise.

  7. I’d honestly say both but the things i want weigh more on this subject, because privacy isn’t really given even in the terms and agreement, and why exactly should you have a social media account, if you don’t want anyone else but yourself to see it, an example of this is when i started using twitter, most people found that i didn’t follow back and they got pissed and that way i lot friends in both real life and online, but using social media to get things from anyone and everyone is partly the purpose of signing up in the first place. I have this friend who only signed up on youtube to become famous and this person has been making a money off youtube ever since and like that it motivated me to do that same but sadly i didn’t workout for me anyway i still use social media to my advantage at least i haven’t lost my old contacts either way i made friends of it

  8. I’m probably a little more concerned with getting access to the things I want. Once you log onto any form of social media and put information out there about you or your life, than there is no reasonable expectation of privacy as far as I’m concerned. You are putting yourself out there on a very public platform with the knowledge that others may take that information and do what they want with it. With no expectation of privacy, I’d rather just get what i want out of any site I’m on.

  10. Actually, no matter privacy or getting access to things I want, I prefer to pay more attention to my privacy, because there were some news that described someone suicided as his(her) privacy founded and utilized in unethical things by people. In 2015, a girl made a comment was too trenchant and sensitivity to lead netizen are dissatisfied. Finally, the girl died because she cannot bear crank call and internet mass hunting. What amazing that some people in order to cause concern be famous and play how to suicide, some netizen even laughter at him(her) you are playing a trick, others are seriously enlighten him to give up. In other words, some people indeed ask for some exciting and awesome things what they think it is variable, they never to consider what consequence would happened in next second. Totally, when you want to get what you need, please, protect yourself and hide details of privacy carefully, which is a best method to enjoy surfing, at the same time, to realize the advantage and negative of social media.

I would have to say that I would enjoy my privacy more so, because I know how easy it is to find information on someone and how easy it is to use beside the fact it is not necessary for others to know my life details. And beside if you know how it is actually not hard to find information you want.

Even though it’s all for good things, i feel like my right to keep my things private has been wavered, like purpose of my information being private on that particular web has been used for wrong purpose.
